a blog written by my girlfriend, hope you guys will be inspired and feel the LOVE heheheand i pray for others that we may be a testimony of God's works, that we can never put God in a box. It has been five months ever since I let myself succumb to this thing people call “love”. Just like most of the people who were discipled in our church before 2006 (I am not quite sure about this), I have a strong prejudice against having a “premature” relationship. Just like most of my friends in church, I have this set of prerequisites to having a boyfriend.
But the love bug bit me. My “love story” is not how I imagined it to be. Yes, one's love story differs from another, but I used to believe that there is a general formula – a method if you may, that is similar to each story: one kisses dating goodbye and waits, then the boy meets the girl, they get to know each other, undergo the process of courtship, get engaged for a few months and then get married. This works most of the time, or so it seems. I was disappointed because of the fact that my relationship started out in the wrong track. It was not planned at all. I was, more than anything, disappointed with myself for letting my heart be captured that easily. I was planning to break up the relationship as soon as I saw the chance. Primarily because I did not see God in it, and because it did not go the way I wanted it to go. I am a writer and a blogger. But for so long I kept myself from writing about my feelings and about our relationship. If you look at my Starbucks planner-slash-diary (which, incidentally is one of his first gifts to me), I only have a short sentence about what primordially happened to us. Nothing else follows except a reminder of our monthsary (uh-huh, lovers are so cheesy) and of his birthday. That is because I didn't want our relationship to be a phantom that could haunt me for the rest of the year. I didn't want to read or see anything that would remind me of the days that I went crazy and let myself fall in love with a guy who seemingly does not deserve my love and attention if ever we broke up. Yet days passed by and I began seeing God in our relationship hence this courage to finally write about it. Each day, God is giving me more reasons to stay with my guy in the grace that keeps us seeking for God in our lives. Each day, I grow more and more certain that he is the man I will grow old with and the man who will push me all the days of my life towards the destiny that God has given me. I may be this “in love” but still, I am heeding precautions. Getting too emotional can be very dangerous that is why I am careful to be in tune with God. Both of us are careful to not decide on anything permanent yet because we still have a long way to go. We are careful to seek God first before deciding on anything. Right now, we are just enjoying our time, seeking God as individuals and as a couple. He once told me that more than a couple, we are partners in seeking God and in fulfilling our mission as two people whom God put together. It reminded me that having a romantic relationship is not just about filling our need to love and to be loved. It is, more than anything, a partnership in our quest to fulfilling our life's purpose. Lastly, as what my leader told me, we can never put God in a box. What seemed to be a wrong choice for me turned out to be God's way of revealing his glory and his grace over my life. Principles of art From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The principles of art are the set of rules or guidelines of art that are to be considered when considering the impact of a piece of artwork. They are combined with the elements of art in the production of art. The principles are movement, unity, variety, balance, emphasis, contrast, proportion, and pattern. Movement Movement creating the illusion of action or physical change in position. It is leading viewers to sense action, or alternatively, the path the viewer's eye follows throughout a artwork. Movement is used in art to give the feeling of action and to guide the viewer's eyes throughout the artwork. Unity Unity or harmony is the quality of wholeness or oneness that is achieved through the effective use of the elements and principles of art. The arrangement of elements and principles to create a feeling of completeness. Variety Variety is the quality or state of having different forms or types. The differences which give a design visual and conceptual interest: notably use of contrast, emphasis, difference in size, and so forth. Balance Balance is arranging elements so that no one part of a work overpowers, or seems heavier than any other part. Two different kinds of balance are symmetrical and asymmetrical. Symmetrical (or formal) balance is when both sides of an artwork, if split down the middle, appear to be the same. The human body is an example of symmetrical balance. Emphasis Emphasis (also called focal point) is where the focus is concentrated through design principles or meaning. To do this one develops points of interest to pull the viewer's eye to important parts of the body of the work. It is to make one part of an artwork dominant over the other parts. It makes an element or object in a work stand out. To use emphasis in an artwork is to attract the viewer's eyes to a place of special importance in an artwork. Contrast Contrast to show difference and diversity in an artwork by combining elements to create interest. Contrast is to provide an artwork with something interesting to break the repetitions. Proportion Proportion (sometimes called scale) describes the relative sizes and locations of objects in the artwork. It refers to the relationships of the size of objects in a body of work. Proportion gives a sense of size seen as a relationship of objects, such as smallness or largeness. Pattern/Rhythm Pattern and rhythm is showing consistency with colors or lines. Putting a red spiral at the bottom left and top right, for example will cause the eye to move from one spiral, to the other, and everything in between. It is indicating movement by the repetition of elements. Rhythm can make an artwork seem active.

i was invited to speak about photojournalism in a press convention in La Union by Anjo, CEGP Baguio secretariat. This was already his third invitation for me to speak and this time i accepted it. The event was Ammoyo 2008, "A free Campus Press for Truth and Accountability" in DMMSU NLUC, La Union.
This is my first ever lecture in photojournalism, before I was the one who is seating on this kind of lectures and taking notes. Now, I’m the lecturer and who gives pointer.
Going in the event was the hardest part, i lost my way, and got delay for my lecture. it was supposed to be a 1030am lecture and turned to 12nn lecture.
The lecture went good.
I am pleased to see students like me learning some principles that is old but new to them.
The lecture was very graphic, since I don’t want to bore my audiences.
For starter, i gave the basic fundamental of photography.
i believe the basic is still the best foundation and teacher for us. when i find ourselves getting tired and weary of the things we do and it is becoming a mare routine. then lets go back to the basic where we first fell in love with. :)
the basic elements and principles of art are foundations. since before photography, painting and sculpture is the visual art we have.
Moving on, i guess history will always be a given topic. Making it a backgrounder, so I jump to where photojournalism really started and boomed.
Then, go to the really stuff. the real lecture.
I also used the current newspaper to emphasized my point, good thing the news that day was the inter-faith rally in Makati. Which is a good story :)
and for the finish. i let them watch a short video on photojournalism i got from BBC. :) It was fun sharing what I’ve learn for some years of self-taught and attending lectures. Photography is a never ending learning. When I was lecturing I was also learning from them, thus, thank you sa mga nakinig. I am looking forward for another lecture like this and some more lessons I can share to others. Let us build up one another :P

if Peter Petrelli was the center of the story in volume one, Hiro Nakamura was the main character in the second volume. i enjoyed watching his story 400 years back in history. year 1600s Japan. the company that was hidden on the first volume was reviled on the second volume. where the associates of Linderman and the parent of the Petrelli Brothers was around the stories. and Sylar is Back! but powerless this second season hehehe. but im not so sure what the Latin heroes are for.... i mean a woman cries blood and kills the people around her by crying blood???? what the heck?? its like filipino culture that wooden statue of Mary cries blood and saying it was a miracle! anyhow cant wait for the Third Volume!!!

Making Second Semester as my reference of time is not appropriate this moment. i didnt enrolled this semester, instead im working now. my father and i establish an office which i will manage. its a "outsoucing" office where some of the work of the company in Dubai will be pass-on with us. As of this moment, we are 3 in the team. my dad, i and Paeng. we're rushing this Villa (Mansion)'s interiors for presentation before my dad fly back to UAE. our office is located on our living room and my room (LOL). we still starting anyway. im hoping that this business will work well with the help and Grace of our Lord. coz if this will be stabled, i dont need to go out of the country anymore for slavery. i love Pilipinas. and yeah, go back to school next year and finish my thesis. i still have 16 more units to get this sheet of paper we called diploma. [thanks to society for making me spend some on my years on a box] *** yung file is the mansion.

Lord Byron F. Gonzales.this first semester, we are on our thesis writing. and much time is demanded on critical considerations with regard to our respective thesis proposals.with him, it will be the first attempt for the architecture class to perform a "real" thesis writing since most of the previous thesis classes of architecture were only doing what he refers as "compiling" of data and relentlessly include all data that most are not really needed to the writings.real thesis would mean, lot of effort on finding reference, reading is a must. books in the library, internet search (thanks to Google), surveys, statistic, go to some agencies such as the city hall and other government and private office just to have reliable facts that would help you compose and execute your thesis.truly its a hard road.but he assured us with this hard road we take and this high mountain we climb, you just need to take the first step! little by little, piece by piece, and eventually, you wouldn't notice that hardship or this high mountain, he saidhe gives us all the hardship now, so that on the thesis deliberation with the jury, it would just be as easy ABC for us. that we will smoke the jury. hehehe

Before my "biggest" day.
August 20, its my BIRTHDAY.
i always relate my birthday to rainy days eversince childhood. since the climatic condition of our country, that August is included to the bracket of rainy season.
my vivid memory of my birthday celebration when i was a kid is when i was turning 7. we lived in Sto Tomas, Pampanga then, we just reestablish our family from the Lahar Tragedy. Sto Tomas is known having flood every rainy season, i dunno maybe its below sea level, maybe.
but since i was my birthday, we need to have a celebration. so even though there were rain and flood, my parents asked me what do i want for my birthday. i asked for a cake, spaghetti, and of course some balloons which have my name printed.
i celebrated my birthday with my family and two of our servants from visayas. we were 6.
today, lately its been raining non-stop. classes have been suspended some days ago. but no floods since its Baguio hahaha.
i still don't know what do i want on my birthday and this "year's" got to offer me.
i guess i will have this week contemplating what do i really want to happened for my life this year. i do expect the ration if good stuff will overthrow the bad stuff. in jesus name!
